八仙狼吞虎咽更觉奇香无比，酒足饭饱之后精神倍增，再战龙王大获全胜。
以后人们为讨吉庆改方桌为八仙桌、坐八客、食八菜（八冷碟、八大碗菜）一直流传到今。
